MISSION STATEMENT
Taylor Crane & Rigging, Inc. is committed to providing our clients with the very best in service, equipment and personnel. With this commitment, we will satisfy our clients’ needs in a safe, competitive, and responsive manner.
In 1975,
Jim C. Taylor, Jr. founded a company that would grow continuously over the years to become Taylor Crane & Rigging and Jim’s vision and leadership is still going strong. TCR is now one of the largest Crane & Rigging companies in the region with over 100 employees and a regular client list exceeding 500 annually.
Taylor Crane and Rigging humbly began in Coffeyville, KS with just one man and a truck on a part-time basis. Now with a wide variety of equipment to accommodate a multitude of services including heavy machinery moving, specialized transport, craning services, millwright services and more.
In 1988,
TCR had grown to the point that it was necessary to start a second location. Tulsa was chosen to improve its access to its existing markets in Tulsa and Northeast Oklahoma. In 2008, it acquired an industrial tract of 80 acres just northeast of Pine and Garnett. It is now able to exercise intrastate and interstate authority to work across the nation.

Taylor Crane & Rigging was honored to be recognized by American Cranes & Transport Magazine (AC&T) in 2020 by AC&T as number 81 in the top 100 Specialized Lifting Companies or “Specialized Lifting 50.” and in 2021 as number 82 in the top 100 Specialized Lifting Companies or “Specialized Lifting 50.”
TCR currently has plans to erect a new 30,000 square-foot building with overhead craning capacity in Tulsa. The facility will house Taylor’s equipment and provide under-roof warehousing for clients in addition to the outside storage currently offered.
Taylor Crane & Rigging is headquartered at 1211 W. 12th Street in Coffeyville, KS. The Tulsa location is located at 1919 N. Garnett in Tulsa, OK.

With over 300 years of combined experience, TCR field and office personnel are experts in their trade. They endeavor to work closely with each client to ensure their satisfaction is always met. Annually, TCR works for approximately 300 clients at 400 different sites. John Deere, Matrix, John Zink, Coffeyville Resources, Frontier Refinery, Conoco Phillips, Spirit Aero, American Airlines, Johnson Controls, Empire District Electric Co., Zachary, Ameracrane, Watco, Baker Oil Tools, and DP Winch are a few of our long-term customers.
Our message is simple. We want to provide you with great service–effective, efficient, responsive, professional and safe. Since 1975, we have been building our rolling stock, tools and talent.
