Tube Bundle
CHANGE-OUT
Refinery – Coffeyville, KS
Remove the tube bundle of 120 psig steam generator. This was a “Red Line” (high priority) job, which was completed during an unplanned turnaround at the refinery.
Taylor crews worked 24 hours a day for seven (7) days until the work was completed. Safety was a major factor, and the project was completed on time, with no safety incidents and to the client’s satisfaction.
- Installation of (2) towers was required to support Taylor’s beam and skating tools, which were necessary
to remove tube bundle 80 feet “off grade”
- Utilize 140 ton truck crane to lift and lower the 72K lb. tube bundle
Transported the tube bundle to a repair facility in Houston, TX
Generator
INSTALL
Cherokee Data Center – Tulsa, OK
- 140 Ton crane and special rigging to offload the model 3612 generators from rail cars
- Trucks and heavy-haul trailers to transport 10 miles across Tulsa
- 80,000 lbs. capacity fork truck, 1” steel plate and skates to move in and place generators
- Positioned the generators on elevated concrete foundations
- Mounted isolator pads once each generator was raised to elevation
- Lowered generators to sit on the isolators and holes marked for the HIT HY 150 Injection Adhesive anchor bolts
- Raised generator to place skates under the generator, allowing anchor holes to be drilled and anchors set on each side
- Lowered each generator down onto the 32 anchor bolts
- All anchor bolts torqued to Caterpillar specifications
- Set cooling units, mufflers and support tower air compressors and air receivers for the air starters, expansion joints for intake and exhaust piping
Bridge Crane
RELOCATION
Relocated Bridge Crane (overhead crane) from one bay to another, utilizing jacking system and turntable. Lifted, rotated, and lowered bridge crane and then traveled to next bay and reversed procedure for installation.
Dimensions: 76 ft. span, 60,000 lbs., 25 ft. off floor/grade.
Rear Modular Assembly
INSTALLATION
Fori – Kansas City, MO
Taylor Crane was awarded the contract from Forie Automation for the rear modular assembly project at the Woodbridge assembly plant in KC, MO. This project consisted of installation of the following:
- Gorbel overhead bridge assemblies with tooling
- Floor mounted jib booms/tooling
- Articulating arms w/ tooling
- Floor mounted conveyors – leveled and lined with-in .005 of 1 in.
- Elevators and lowerators
- Rear module aligners
- (2) Rowboats for uploading conveyors
- (2) auto torque stations
- All safety cages and light curtain
- All utility piping and air lines
- All cable trey and wiring
This project was completed on time, under budget, with zero accidents.
